It sits on its original substantial bun feet and retains its period oak turned knobs throughout, a small detail that speaks to the quality of the piece. Rounded column corners, a lovely moulded top edge and deep drawer proportions all point to early Victorian craftsmanship. Warm, mellow colour throughout. Some historic woodworm, but solid and in good overall condition for its age. A very fine example.
