A really characterful antique Victorian pine chest of drawers with fantastic provenance, stencilled to the back and the bottom in bold Gothic lettering is "Selwyn College A12", marking this as former furniture from Selwyn College, Cambridge. Most likely a student's room chest, dating to the late 19th century when the college was founded (1882).
The classic 2-over-3 drawer arrangement sits on turned bun feet, with turned period wooden knobs throughout. One is a slightly different colour to the rest but they look suitable for the chest. Solid and well-built as you'd expect from the period, all five drawers running well. Plenty of honest wear, old repairs and marks consistent with its age and history, all part of the story. A lovely genuine Victorian pine chest with an interesting history and in a later ebonised finish.

A really striking antique European pine single-door cupboard, most likely German or Dutch in origin and dating to 1910. Tall and slim with a fantastic carved bonnet top, it has a real presence despite its narrow footprint, only 69cm wide, so it slots neatly into a hallway, alcove or bedroom without taking over the room.
Five internal shelves make it brilliantly practical and it lends itself to all sorts of uses, hallway storage, linen cupboard, larder, drinks cabinet, you name it. Retains the original working lock with its key, and a lovely engraved brass escutcheon plate. The pine has a beautiful tight grain throughout.
Some age-related marks and wear as you'd expect, all adding to the character. A really useful and good looking piece.

A great looking large Victorian pine open bookcase, most likely adapted from a cupboard in the early 20th century. Solid and sturdy with lovely original patina, decorative cornice moulding to the top and a classic plinth base. Four generous deep shelves make it incredibly practical, perfect as a bookcase, display unit or kitchen dresser base. Minor losses at the back of the sides. A really useful piece that would work well in a range of settings from a country farmhouse to a more contemporary home.
