A handsome late Victorian / early 20th century English pine sideboard with a pair of panelled doors beneath two useful drawers, offering excellent storage and charming country house appeal.
Constructed in solid pine, the cupboard features a generous shelved interior enclosed by panelled doors, with two drawers above fitted with turned wooden knobs. The top displays lovely grain and wear acquired over many years of use. Originally intended as a kitchen or pantry cupboard, it would now make an ideal sideboard, kitchen dresser base, hallway cupboard or television stand.
The pine has mellowed nicely with age and displays good colour and character throughout and is in solid working order. As usual with genuine antique pine furniture, it displays tons of charm and character, bumps, scrapes, old repairs, small missing knots and historic woodworm which we think always adds to the piece.
