A sweet and charming, late Victorian pine chest of drawers, circa 1900, painted and distressed by us in a deep black finish and layered with black wax to give a rich, authentic depth of colour. Three graduated drawers with later turned wooden knobs which sit beautifully against the dark finish. Raised on its original chunky turned bun feet with a plinth surround above.
The drawers are solid throughout and run well for a chest of this age. There are marks and character to the piece as you'd expect. A versatile piece that sits equally well in a traditional or contemporary interior.
