A charming late 19th-century stripped Victorian pine console or side table. It features a single full-width drawer with hand-cut dovetail construction and later (but sympathetically chosen) white porcelain knobs. The table stands on two turned front legs with square legs to the rear. It has a small and typical raised gallery to the back. Please note, the mark you see on the back of the top in the pictures is just a shadow.
Presented in overall good condition, it retains plenty of character, including evidence of historic woodworm. The piece has a dry finish throughout and a lovely mellow colour typical of aged pine.
