A lovely early 20th-century stripped pine chest of drawers with a classic two over three drawer layout. Made from solid pine and traditionally dovetailed throughout, it has developed a wonderful mellow colour over the years.
It stands on later tulip feet, the originals having been lost at some point in its life, and we've replaced the knobs with more suitable period examples. A good honest piece with plenty of character and age-related charm.
In good solid condition throughout, with the drawers running well on their original wooden runners. A useful and attractive chest that would sit comfortably in both traditional and modern interiors.
